This is an individual physical activity challenge created to encourage participants to log the recommended 10,000 steps every day (or equivalent amount of other activities) or 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity every week. Typically, Rock the Walk is an eight-week challenge with weekly prizes awarded to active participants.
The 2018 Rock the Walk challenge will take place from September 25-November 6, and registration opens on August 27th. Schedules, prizes, signup instructions and all other details can be found at forthealthcare.com/rockthewalk

The Slimdown Challenge has been a community favorite over the past few years and has generated major results! The goal is to healthfully reduce weight and improve overall health over eight weeks. Participants are required to attend official weigh-in and weigh-out sessions to be eligible for prizes; the most important prize being a healthier, more active lifestyle!
The 2018 Slimdown Challenge beginning Tuesday, April 10th through Tuesday, June 5th. Weigh-ins will take place throughout Jefferson County the week or two prior to the start date. Weigh-in schedules, prizes, signup instructions, and all other details will be updated at FortHealthCare.com/Slimdown.
