Rock the Walk 2016 will begin Tuesday, September 27th through Tuesday, November 22nd. All details are below.
Log at least 150 minutes of physical activity each week, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – walking, biking, swimming, and even gardening – whatever activity you choose, as long as it gets your heart pumping.
New Fort HealthCare challenge participants will fill out the pre-registration form (will be posted below) and receive further instructions on how to sign up.
Past Fort HealthCare challenge participants will log in to their existing accounts at FortHealthCare.MyCernerWellness.com and click the “Sign Up!” button when signup opens on September 5th.
Weekly tasks will be to log minutes of exercise totaling 150 minutes per week, read an article, and take a quiz. All tasks must be completed by the Monday at 11:59pm deadline in order to be eligible for weekly and grand prizes.

September 5th-October 3rd – Sign-up is open on the Cerner dashboard for ALL players. Note: A one-week grace period is available for last-minute sign-up after the challenge begins.
September 27th – Challenge begins!
Eight weeks of challenge – Weekly tasks assigned – Weekly prizes awarded
November 22nd – Challenge ends
November 25th – Winners announced and grand prizes awarded
Stay tuned for a list of grand prizes that 2016 participants will compete for! Weekly prizes will be randomly awarded to eight individuals who complete their three tasks, which will be a $25 Visa gift card each week.
Individuals logging the most minutes of exercise will be in the running. All are eligible for weekly prizes upon reading an article, taking a quiz, and logging at least 150 minutes of exercise in the portal.
Individuals will choose locations in which to participate, such as “Fort HealthCare” and “Nasco”. Locations will be competing for a ‘traveling trophy’, which will be awarded for the whole year until the next Rock the Walk season. The more exercise individuals log within a location, the better chances that location has of winning!
