We have experienced great success in advancing our community wellness goals! We are very proud of the success of the community and in particular with the Wisconsin County Health Rankings.
The annual County Health Rankings help counties recognize what influences the health of residents and how long they will live. In Wisconsin, this is measured among all 72 counties. In 2023, Jefferson County ranks 15th in health outcomes and 26th in health factors! That is forward movement in the right direction compared to ten years ago when we were ranked 33rd and 34th, respectively.
The future of healthcare is changing. We are positioning ourselves for this future. Back in 2010, we decided to change our mission to “Improve the health and well-being of the community” and our vision declared to “Be the healthiest community in Wisconsin.” We made this shift because we recognize the need to take a more future-oriented approach to managing the health of our local population. We will continue to address the needs of each individual patient, while also working to improve the health of our population. We will continue to support the community to meet its needs and improve the health and well-being of our entire community. We are committed to continuing to work with our partners next year and beyond to provide a healthier community for everyone.
Whether you see us at a local 5k run, the farmers market, a school event, or some other local activity, we will continue to support the communities we serve.
