Medical Practice
I was very active in outdoor sports when I was a kid. One day while playing soccer, I noticed a young kid of my age standing by the side of the field crying because of knee pain and swelling. Later on, I had frequently seen him crying from his knee pain. He had played with us with limited capacity on very few occasions, and after playing for a little while, he had to leave the field limping/crying. He couldn’t afford treatment as he was from a very financially challenged family, and our neighborhood was very underserved back then. It was his teary eyes and inability to play sports that made me decide to become a doctor so that someday I would be able to treat him.
I have always enjoyed working with children and spent most of my service and leadership activities working with youth of all ages. I might not have kids of my own, but I have 14 nephews and nieces!
My practice interests are general pediatrics, term newborn, asthma, pediatric growth and development, childhood obesity, and ADHD.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, I love to play Cricket and Soccer. I also love to spend time with my family and friends.
