David Dulak is a clinical pharmacist at Fort Healthcare. He recently received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016 and afterwards completed a general practice PGY-1 residency at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Before graduating from pharmacy school, he worked as a pharmacy intern for Walgreens and as a pharmacy technician for UW Health in Madison and Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, Minnesota. He maintains membership in American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American Pharmacists Association, Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin, and Phi Delta Chi Professional Fraternity.
David’s clinical interests include critical care/emergency medicine, behavioral health, infectious disease, and compounding. He enjoys teaching and working with pharmacy residents and students, especially in a rural health setting. In his free time, David enjoys playing volleyball, racquetball, poker, video games, taking naps, and playing drums with a country western band based out of La Crosse, WI.
The inpatient pharmacy promotes a safe and regulatory compliant medication management system within the hospital building and serves as an expert resource on safe and regulatory compliant medication use to our Fort Medical Group clinics. Pharmacy services are decentralized with a pharmacist who spends several hours each day with the inpatient care areas in a supportive role.
