Clinical Practice
Kelly is a speech-language pathologist at the Fort Atkinson Therapy & Sport Center and the Lake Mills Therapy & Sport Center. She specializes in disorders related to speech and language (speech sound disorder, language delay, Aphasia, Dysarthria, stuttering) as well as auditory, visual, cognitive, oral muscular, respiratory, swallowing, and vocal functioning.
Kelly is one of only seven Orofacial Myologists trained through Neo-Health Services in the state of Wisconsin. She specializes in treating orofacial myofunctional disorders, which can manifest in a variety of symptoms, including mouth breathing, oral habits (such as thumb and finger sucking), airway problems, speech disorders, tongue tie (ankyloglossia), orthodontic concerns, feeding difficulties, disordered oral preparatory stages of swallowing, tongue thrust, and drooling.
Kelly collaborates closely with dentists, orthodontists, ENTs, and primary care physicians to address muscle function issues in both children and adults. She is currently pursuing her Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM) certification to further enhance her expertise in this field. Kelly is also a certified SPEAK OUT!® provider. Kelly enjoys reading, crocheting, baking, sporting events and spending time with family.
