Lindsay, who grew up in New Berlin, Wisconsin, has always enjoyed being around others and, from a young age, had a genuine desire to work in the healthcare field. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, she began working as a certified nursing assistant at a Madison nursing home. To further her education, Lindsay enrolled in Marquette University’s graduate nursing program, specializing in adult-older adult primary care. During her graduate studies, she worked as nursing assistant, then as a registered nurse, gaining experience in an inpatient rehabilitation unit and an acute care unit, both at Wheaton Franciscan. After graduating in May 2015, Lindsay decided to pursue pain management. “From my previous work experiences,” she said, “I know how much pain can impact patients’ daily lives.” Lindsay is dedicated to creating a nonjudgmental atmosphere where acute and chronic pain patients can receive the best treatment possible.
“My approach to pain management is holistic one, where I get to know my patients and create an individualized plan of care.”
