2 tablespoons oil
1 cup uncooked rice
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 cup finely sliced green onions
2/3 cup chopped canned chilies
1/2 cup diced fresh tomatoes
2 cups broth


1) Heat oil in a heavy skillet. Add rice and saute until golden brown. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer slowly for 30 minutes.

2) Pour mixture into a vegetable-oil prayed 9x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool before cutting into bars.
