About Fort HealthCare Learning Center:

Fort HealthCare Learning Center

Participants in our Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) class are “resuscitating” Matilda, one of our high-fidelity manikins.

The Learning Center provides educational opportunities not only to Fort HealthCare employees, but also to area hospitals, schools, and healthcare facilities. The Simulation Lab provides “hands on” experience to hospital and clinic staff by using a variety of task trainers, static and high-fidelity manikins. These activities enhance critical thinking while instilling best practice to ensure safe, quality care for our patients. The Learning Center also coordinates/manages the Nurse Residency Program, new employee orientation, the Education/Simulation team, various competency days, our Learning Management System (Swank), various Point Teams, and much more.
