Welcome to the inaugural Frosty Rock Challenge, the only race of its kind! Take on the challenge as you amble your way through the oak savannah, past the marshes and wetlands, and over the prairie on this 12K mixed course. The race starts at Fort HealthCare's Therapy & Sport Center (Fort Atkinson), goes through Dorothy Carnes County Park and returns to the clinic.
Off-roading it isn’t your idea of a fun run? Take a shot at the 5k road race. Beautiful city and river views will be at every turn. The 5k also starts/ends at Fort HealthCare's Therapy & Sport Center (Fort Atkinson).
Early bird registration is available. Participants registering by September 15 receive a $10 discount on registration fees. Registrations by November 8 provide for a $5 discount. After that date, the fee for the 12k mixed course race is $40 and the fee for the 5k run/walk is $35. On-line registration closes on Thursday, November 14. All participants pre-registered by October 31 will receive a race shirt.
The official race shirt is a frosty blue long-sleeved cotton tee. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each of the following divisions: 12k men, 12k women, 5k men and 5k women. Winners receive a handmade Frosty Rock Challenge commemorative mug created by artist Peter Beck.
No pets. Strollers welcome on 5k course only.
