What is the Frosty Rock Challenge?

This is an annual race that takes place in November and offers a 1-mile fun run, a 5k run/walk and a 12k run/walk put on by Fort HealthCare.

How long is a 5k? How long is a 12k?

A 5k is 3.1 miles and a 12k is 7.46 miles.

Does this race support a cause?

A proceed of each registration will be donated to the Kiwanis Club.

What are the 5k and 12k routes?

Both the 5k and 12k begin at the Fort Atkinson High School (925 Lexington Blvd). The 5k route utilizes mostly the surrounding residential area, while the 12k utilizes “back roads” and Dorothy Carnes County Park.

What is the cost associated with the race?

1-mile fun run = Free (T-Shirts $5)

5k without/with a t-shirt = $15 / $20 (On or before July 1, 2023)

5k without/with a t-shirt = $20 / $25 (After July 1, 2023)

12k without/with a t-shirt = $15 / $20 (On or before July 1, 2023)

12k without/with a t-shirt = $20 / $25 (After July 1, 2023)

I’m not a runner, can I walk my race?

Yes, you can walk any of the races.

Are dogs able to participate?

While we love Fido and Fifi, we ask that you leave your pets at home.

Am I eligible for an overall award and age-group award?

Overall award winners will NOT be eligible for age-group awards.

Will there be a virtual option?

Yes, the 5k and 12k will offer a virtual option.

Will I be able to get a t-shirt for this race?

Yes. Just be sure to select the registration option that includes the t-shirt option.

Can I do this with a friend/family member?

Absolutely! We just ask that you practice physical distancing if you plan to walk/run together.

If I want to pickup my friend’s/group’s packet, can I do so?

Absolutely! Please communicate this with the race director PRIOR to packet pickup to eliminate any issues.
