Angie Smith Meets Lt. Governor Kleefisch

Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch visited Opportunities Inc. Training and Employment Programs on Friday, February 28, 2014.  She visited with local community employers who partner with Opportunities to provide people with barriers to employment the chance to work in their community. 

Fort HealthCare had the privilege of hosting the Lt. Governor on Friday, February 28, 2014.  She met Angie Smith, an Opportunities employee, who has worked at Fort HealthCare in the Support Services Department for over 6 years.  Angie described her job duties to the Lt. Governor and demonstrated them to her when the group visited the Med/Surg/Peds department.  Angie and the Lt. Governor where accompanied by her Opprotunities Coach, Linda Harrison.

Kay Wipperfurth, Vice President of Ancillary and Support Services, stated, “Fort HealthCare has been committed to working with Opportunities and other agencies to support disabled clients in preparing them for employment  for the past eight years.  We are delighted with their work and this partnership.”
