Fort HealthCare launches new community activity website, Health365Events.com

Fort HealthCare has developed a community website for posting, sharing and browsing local health and wellness events. Health365Events.com goes hand-in-hand with Fort HealthCare’s mission to “Improve the health and well-being of our community.”

Health365Events.com screenshotThe purpose of Health365Events.com is to make it easier for non-profit organizations to share details of their community fitness and wellness events and for users to find events they want to participate in. This website fosters a greater sense of community well-being and proves that being healthy and active should be fun.

Those who should have accounts include those concerned about individual health and well-being and anyone who is responsible for planning events open to the public.

Health365Events.com is a central source for information on all area wellness activities. We encourage event organizers to help Fort HealthCare spread the word regarding fitness, exercise, nutrition and well-being. How it Works

Any individual can post an event online, then events will be approved by Fort HealthCare staff before appearing on the site. Event registration is not available through this site, but organizers can link to their own webpage or registration form, this includes uploading a PDF. Health365Events.com is connected with social media so users can “Like” an event on Facebook and share it with friends. Events must occur in the Fort HealthCare service area and have a fitness or wellness theme. A full listing of terms and conditions is available on the website.

To Create a User Account

This account type allows interested community members to sign up for email notifications when an event that may be of interest is posted.
1. Click “Register” in the top-right corner.
2. Select “Create a User Account.”
3. Fill in the contact information and “Create Account.”
4. Users will receive a confirmation email. This may take up to 30 minutes.
5. After account confirmation, select preferences and begin receiving event update emails.

To Post an Event

This account type allows event organizers to post events on the site.
1. Click “Register” in the top-right corner.
2. Select “Create an Organization Account.”
3. Fill in the contact information, agree to the Terms & Conditions and “Create Account.”
4. Once confirmed, click “Login” in the upper right-hand corner.
5. After login, select the “Add Event” tab at the top of the page.
6. Enter event information.
7. “Save & Preview” allows organizers to see what the event will look like on the website.
8. “Submit Event” sends the event to Fort HealthCare for approval.
9. Event organizers will be notified by email that the event has been approved and posted.
