Welcome New Urologist, Christopher Manakas, MD

FORT ATKINSON – Fort Medical Group and Fort HealthCare Urology Associates is pleased to welcome urology specialist, Christopher Manakas, MD, to their medical group practice. Manakas joins the staff in Fort Atkinson and Elkhorn on September 1.

Manakas brings to the practice skilled treatment for incontinence, prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer prevention and treatment, as well as robotic-assisted laparoscopic and other minimally-invasive surgery experience. Manakas earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and in 2005 completed medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Gary and Indianapolis. Manakas completed his residency program in Urology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Urology in 2010.

Manakas states, “Urology is a field that I am attracted to because of the huge impact small interventions can have on a person’s quality of life. I feel privileged to be able to offer a number of solutions for improving someone’s overall health and well being.” When he’s not at the hospital or seeing patients in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
