Welniak Celebrates Second Anniversary at Fort HealthCare Jefferson

Fort HealthCare Jefferson physician Linda Welniak, MD, is celebrating the beginning of her third year at the Jefferson clinic providing family medicine care to area residents. The Fort HealthCare Jefferson clinic is located at 840 West Racine Street in Jefferson. She and nurse practitioner Noreen Lyons care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Welniak reflects, “I have really enjoyed getting to know my patients and area residents these past two years. The most important thing to me is keeping my patients healthy or making them feel better. I listen to their concerns, help them work toward health solutions and, whenever necessary, get them the specialty care that they need. That’s my goal for every person I treat.”
Welniak earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. Welniak has taught for more than 10 years at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and continues as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the department of Family and Community Medicine.
She and the clinic staff are accepting new patients. Welniak cares for patients of all ages – from infants to older adults – and she is experienced in all facets of family medicine, including health and wellness, diagnosis and treatment of various conditions, immediate care needs, health management, acute problems and chronic conditions. Welniak knows many specialists throughout the region, and helps her patients move through the care process with speed and efficiency.
