T-COM is the testing of oxygen in the skin. The Wound & Edema Center can measure the level of oxygen in the skin around a wound or in the limb itself to indicate blockages in arterial flow to a portion of the limb such as toes or ankle or foot. The readings may also tell us how well a patient will tolerate certain treatments. This machine to do T-COM is only in the Fort HealthCare Wound & Edema Center.
