Most people associate physical therapy with helping people recover from injuries, but it can also be a solution for bladder and bowel control, pelvic floor dysfunction, and abdominal or pelvic pain in both women and men.

Physical therapy can help with pregnancy-related pain and also play an important role in rehabilitation following breast or prostate surgery.

Biofeedback is a non-surgical approach

Biofeedback may be utilized as a tool to help with bladder and bowel retraining and to teach better control over the pelvic floor muscles. It provides a patient with visual and auditory feedback to improve strength, reduce tension, and retrain uncoordinated muscles.

Our physical therapists are specially trained to evaluate and treat common conditions that affect patients throughout their lives. Our therapists work with you and your physician to individualize your treatment plan, using a team approach to provide the best care possible.
