Women Who CARE is hosting a luncheon at Fort Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 28 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Classroom A on the ground floor of the hospital. The featured speakers will be Jude Hartwick, Crossroads Alternative Education Program, and Sue Hartwick, a volunteer in Fort Atkinson Schools. They will present insights about the challenges faced by students who have behavioral health issues and ideas about ways to help these students. Women Who CARE is finalizing details for a pilot program to address the behavioral needs of children in collaboration with the Whitewater School District. The goal of the pilot project is to develop a model that can be used in any area school experiencing this challenge. More information about the group is available at www.FortHealthCare.com/WWC .
