In an effort to increase physical activity, spiritual growth and cultural awareness a group of inspirational individuals at the Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson took a virtual walk to Bethlehem and Emmaus, following Saint Paul’s four missionary journeys. Total distance traveled was over 16,000 miles.

Mercury-to-digital thermometer exchange, Saturday

The City of Fort Atkinson Wastewater Utility and Fort HealthCare will be holding a mercury-to-digital thermometer exchange at the Fort Atkinson Farmers Market on Saturday, September 3, 8:00 a.m. through Noon. The market is located in the Milwaukee street municipal parking lot across from the post office in downtown Fort Atkinson. This is the third and final thermometer drive underwritten by Fort HealthCare through the purchase of 200 digital thermometers.
